About Juan Galvez (CEO)
Juan Galvez began his naval engineering career in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he owned and operated a boat manufacturing company called “Astilleros Juan Galvez”. The company was founded in 1969, and it was solely dedicated to manufacturing yachts, ranging from 40’ feet to up to 90’ feet long. Juan directly oversaw and helped to build over 100 boats during the duration of his tenure. Over the course of the 30+ years where he worked at his shipyard, Juan managed to develop his naval engineering skills and knowledge to new heights.
Past
In the year 2000, Juan made a life changing decision to move to the United States to start up his very own yacht repair and servicing shop. Located in Harbour Towne, a Westrec Marina, Juan had to be able to prove his worth and attract clientele as quickly and efficiently as possible if he wished to run the shop for years to come.
Present
Needless to say, Juan's company is still operating in the same location it was founded 17 years ago, the only difference being that now he has a strong customer base and an untarnished reputation. Galvez Yachts has become one of the most prestigious boat servicing and manufacturing companies in the South Florida area, recognized by multinational yacht corporations from around the globe. Examples of these companies include Ferretti Group, Princess, Maiora, and San Lorenzo, some of the biggest boat manufacturers across the globe. Ferretti Group has even offered Galvez Yachts to become a Ferretti Group Official Service Provider.
